FAQs

Do you have questions about Mighty Mini, the rental process, or something similar? See if we’ve answered them below in our FAQ section. If you have any other questions or concerns we haven’t addressed here, get in touch with us.

Who can rent equipment?

Anyone 18 or older and capable of operating our equipment safely is allowed to rent from Mighty Mini. Some of our equipment classes require operator training, you’ll see a note of this in the product details for the equipment we have available. Generally speaking, if you’re interested in equipment we offer, we’ll find a way to make it work for you.

Do I need insurance to rent equipment?

Most items we offer for rent are available to the renter with a damage deposit. While its always a good idea to be insured against potential losses, Mighty Mini doesn’t require proof of insurance in most instances. The renter assumes liability for damages to our equipment in their care, as explained in detail in our Rental Policies. For some larger pieces we will require the renter to secure insurance for the equipment rented during the rental term. We can help the renter navigate this should the need arise. Mighty Mini does not offer insurance of any kind to our customers.

Do you deliver? Where to?

Yes, we absolutely will deliver to you. We serve the southcentral and southwest regions of Wisconsin, with our standard delivery area being a 30 mile radius from Dodgeville. Our delivery charge per item class is given in the details section on each product page. In most situations, the delivery charge will be based on the size class of largest item rented.

What if I want to change the terms of my rental?

Mighty Mini will work to accommodate your request as availability allows. For early returns, rental charges will be assessed by the number of days the rental proceeded, rounded up. For extensions, we’ll adjust the rental term as able depending on availability and reassess charges based on the duration. Rental periods, for the purpose of charges, end when Mighty Mini reclaims equipment or at the end of the scheduled term, whichever comes first.

What do I need in order to rent from Mighty Mini?

We require proof of identity and proof of funds to cover damages which might occur to our equipment. For most items a valid drivers license or state ID and a credit card is enough. For some equipment we require the renter to possess insurance and extend coverage to the equipment rented. You’ll see a note of this in the equipment details.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

We understand circumstances change and you may need to move or cancel your rental period. Our cancellation policy was developed with this in mind.
